This is Cala d'Or
Cala d'Or is a coastal area of some 5 kilometres, dotted with a dozen coves, almost all of which have sandy beaches.
The first hotel was built here in the 1930s – it is still operational now, and is one of the oldest on Mallorca.
Cala d'Or still radiates the charm of the tourism of old. Aesthetic, white Mediterranean architecture unfurls in the shade of the pine trees, but the range of entertainment, activities and services has jumped forward into the 21st century.
Families with children and anyone who appreciates beauty, tranquillity, safety and quality tourism will find here everything they need for a golden holiday, from a wide range of leisure activities to medical service in their own language. Moreover, there are beautiful natural areas and destinations for daytrips nearby.
